According to TASS, Maigurov said this at the forum “Russia is a sports power”, stressing that the organization hopes for a positive outcome, but it is difficult to predict something, and they are waiting for the court decision.
Earlier, on December 10, 2025, the SBR filed a lawsuit with the CAS demanding to remove the suspension of Russian athletes initiated by the IBU, which lasts from the spring of 2022.
