Neymar spoke about racism in Brazilian football

Santos forward Neymar regarded his removal in the match of the 32nd round of the Brazilian championship against Baya (1: 1) as a manifestation of racism. He wrote about it on his page in Instagram* (banned in Russia, belongs to the corporation Meta, recognized in Russia as extremist).

Neymar was removed from the field in the 46th minute for unsportsmanlike behavior: he argued with Brazilian Baya defender Rodrigo Nestor and covered his mouth with his hand. The chief arbiter of the meeting decided to delete after watching the video replay. Thus, Neymar will miss the next match of Santos against Palmeiras, which will take place on the road on October 28.

In his address, the footballer admitted that he does not like to discuss what is happening on the field, but Nestor called the act very serious. According to him, it is a law created against racism, and the opponent wanted to cash in on it. Neymar stressed that he was very upset, because he was very cunning: he threw the ball in his lower back, and he grabbed his face – so, in the opinion of the forward, you can not do.

Santos is located on the 8th line of the standings of the Brazilian championship, gaining 46 points.
