Czech tennis player Karolina Mukhova became the last participant of the upcoming WTA Final tournament, which will be held from 8 to 15 November in Indian Wells. It's from sb.by.

Qualifying Mukhova for the prestigious competition became possible after Martha Kostyuk failed to reach the quarterfinals of the tournament in the Chinese Ningbo, losing to Ekaterina Alexandrova. The first set with a score of 6:4 remained for the Russian, after which the Ukrainian withdrew from the match. As a result, Kostyuk lost the mathematical chances to beat Mukhova in the championship race and will now head the reserve list.
It is noteworthy that the 30-year-old Mukhova for the first time in his career will perform at the WTA Final tournament.
Thus, the following tennis players will meet in Indian Wells: Arina Sobolenko, Elena Rybakina, Mirra Andreeva, Linda Noskova, Coco Gauff, Jessica Pegula, Elina Svitolina, Carolina Mukhova.
At the final tournament WTA will be formed two quartets of participants. Two of the best tennis players from each group will reach the semifinals, and the strongest in these stages will fight for the trophy in the title match.
