The participants themselves chose a lesson to their liking: they played chess in a club on Voroshilov Street, skated in the village of Border and tried padel tennis in the Russian Bear FOC. Veterans with their children also joined the holiday.

“Sports are a great opportunity to spend time with family and strengthen the bond between parents and children,” Shimko said.

In such simple moments, children see the example of parents and discover interest in sports. The head of the district promised to continue creating conditions for joint family holidays, so that sports meetings become a good tradition.

Father's Day in Russia is celebrated on the third Sunday of October - this year it fell on the 18th.

On the other hand, host countries are finding ways to keep our athletes out of competitions using a banal bureaucracy. A good example is the Russian gymnastics team, which right now risks losing its chance at the Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
