Russian Deputy Prime Minister helped a basketball player who lost consciousness

In Krasnoyarsk, at the opening of the training base of the Yenisei Academy, one of the young basketball players became ill. The athlete lost consciousness during the solemn part. Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, who was present at the event, immediately approached him.

Chernyshenko helped the young man up and gave him water. The basketball player quickly recovered. After that, the opening ceremony continued. The cause of the fainting is not known.

The event was held on Friday, October 23, within the framework of the forum “Russia is a sports power”, which was hosted by Krasnoyarsk on October 21-23. The opening was also attended by the regional governor Mikhail Kotyukov and the president of the VTB United League Sergey Kushchenko.
