Soviet and Russian football player, former head coach of Rostov Sergey Balakhnin in an interview with the correspondent of MK-Sport shared his impressions about the level of this match.
Sergey Nikolayevich, Akhmat usually plays well at home. What didn't happen to the team now?
- I don't think anything went wrong. It should be noted that Baltika looked good. In principle, two teams met the same level of their game. I thought the game was a good level. And, in my opinion, a fair result reflected everything that was on the field. Grozny probably did not have a number of players from the main team who could strengthen the team. But in principle, it was built well, and played quite disciplined. But the opponent was worthy, so they could not do anything against the arguments presented by Baltika, as well as in the opposite direction. Therefore, everyone tried and wanted to do better, but could not, probably, because of their level of skill.
- Given the fact that the game was held on the Akhmata field, for Baltika this draw is more a positive, or rather a negative result?
Given the fact that Baltika can no longer win the fourth game, of course, now for them any unwinnable result is still unsatisfactory. The team is ambitious and capable of winning. But so far they have been unsuccessful in winning.
