Hockey club “Siberia” beat Moscow “Dynamo” in the guest match of the regular championship of the KHL, which took place on the evening of October 20 in the capital
The fight started hard for Novosibirsk. For a long time, the owners of the ice held the game advantage. In the 39th minute, Muscovites defender Daniil Pylenkov opened the scoring after the transfers of Igor Ozhigov and Jordan Wheel. At the beginning of the third period, the position of the Siberians worsened: Maxim Letunov with passes of the same Pylenkov and Wheel doubled the advantage of the hosts. In the middle of the final stint, Siberia forward Alexander Yaremchuk gave the team hope, realizing a numerical majority after accurate transfers by Anton Kosolapov and Arkhip Nekolenko. The real drama unfolded a minute and a half before the end of the third period, when Yaremchuk issued a double and transferred the game to overtime. In extra time, the Siberians had to defend themselves, neutralizing the numerical advantage of the opponent.
As a result, the meeting turned into a bullite series, where the composure of the players of Siberia and a reliable game in goal allowed our team to get ahead and take the deserved two points.
After this success, Siberia climbed to seventh place in the Eastern Conference table with 17 points. The next opponent of the team will be St. Petersburg SKA. on the road this Thursday, October 22.
