Smolensk gymnast Alexander Anufrieva performs in the final of the world championship in Rotterdam

Athlete from the Smolensk region Alexandra Anufrieva, a student of the Smolensk State School of the Olympic Reserve, joined the Russian team at the 54th World Championships in gymnastics, which takes place in Rotterdam from 17 to 25 October.

According to the results of the qualification, which ended on Monday, October 19, Russian gymnasts took third place in the team all-around with a score of 163,662 points, second only to the national teams of China and the United States. The team, in addition to Anufrieva, included Lyudmila Roshchina, Alena Glotova, Milana Kayumova and Elizaveta Us.

During the qualifying performances, Alexandra demonstrated results in the reference jump and freestyle exercises, successfully contributing to the overall team standings.

The team all-around final is scheduled for Wednesday, October 21. Smolyan is urged to support Alexandra and the entire Russian team, wishing the girls good luck and bright performances.
