Acting head coach of Kazan Rubin appointed Russian Oleg Kuzmin. This was reported by the press service of the team.

Kuzmin will start working with football players on Sunday: he will prepare the team for the cup match against Moscow Spartak and for the game of the Russian championship with Voronezh Torch.

Kuzmin thanked the club for their trust and promised to try to help the team to rectify the situation. For him, Rubin, according to him, is his home club, where he spent an important stage in his playing career and where he began his coaching career; he intends to do everything in his power to improve the results and the game.

Kuzmin is 45. When he was a player, he played for Rubin from 2010 to 2018, spent 203 matches with the team and together with it became the winner of the Cup (2012) and the Super Cup of Russia (2012).

Earlier it was reported that “Rubin” dismissed the head coach Frank Artigou, whose staff worked Kuzmin. Now the team has a series of seven matches in all tournaments without victories.

The game against Spartak will be held in Moscow on October 28, and Rubin will host Torch on October 31.
