Tambov region for the first time became the site of the final of the championship of Russia in trophy raids

From 16 to 19 October in the Tambov municipal district, next to the Park-hotel "Birch", the main event of the season in the discipline of trophy raids - the final of the championship of Russia. Tambov region hosts competitions of this level for the first time, although the region has repeatedly become a venue for various motorsport tournaments. The event is included in the program “Sport of Russia”.

Participants will compete for the championship title in three test categories: TR-1, TR-2 and absolute. At the start came athletes from 35 subjects of the Federation – from Moscow and the Moscow region to the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug, Smolensk, Voronezh, Bryansk and other regions. The Tambov land is represented by two crews, another mixed composition is a pilot from the region.

According to representatives of the Russian Motorsport Federation, the preparation of the tracks took three days. The routes promise to be difficult: participants are waiting for serious mud areas and difficult obstacles. "The final will be hot," the federation said.

Competitions start on 17, 18 and 19 October at 7:00. Trophy-raid is an off-road competition for time, which is considered one of the most spectacular types of motorsport and is usually held on all-wheel drive cars.
