Traditional race "Running Vologda" will be held in December (6+)

In the regional capital on December 5 and 6, the IX half marathon “Running Vologda” is planned. Vologjans will run downtown. Professional athletes and fans of an active lifestyle of all ages and any level of training can take part.

Starting packages will be issued for two days. On December 5, young Vologda residents will take part in the race. For them, small distances of 500 and 1 km will be prepared. A separate distance of 500 m will run children with disabilities. At 14.00 at the opening ceremony, Santa Claus from the Great Ustyug will address the runners. Before the start, the guys will warm up.

On the second day, distances of 5 km, 10 km, 21.1 km are provided, as well as a symbolic distance of 2027 meters. Finishers will receive a commemorative medal and an electronic certificate.

In addition to the main starts, a running tour is provided on December 5. Participants will run at 16.30 from the monument to Christophor Ledentsov to the historical places of the city, art objects and new public spaces.

In addition, the program will include a photo shoot with Santa Claus and Snow Maiden, musical performances, lectures with famous speakers, a meeting after the races, gifts and surprises. Registration of participants has already begun.
