Andrey Razin held the first round of negotiations with the leadership of “Dynamo” against the background of temporary suspension from work in “Metallurg”
The head coach of Magnitogorsk Metallurg Andrei Razin met with representatives of the leadership of Dynamo Moscow for the first round of negotiations. According to the Internet portal “Power of Sport”, the place for the meeting was chosen one of the prestigious hotels located near Petrovsky Park, where the specialist talked with the leadership of the white and blue.
It is worth noting that at the moment the Magnitogorsk club has not officially fired Andrei Razin. The specialist was temporarily suspended from managing the team on the sixth of October. In the leadership of Metallurg, this step was explained by the conflict between the coach and the players. To perform the duties of the head coach of the Ural team during this period was entrusted to Vladimir Vorobyov.
At the same time, in the camp of blue-white personnel changes are not planned yet. Dynamo CEO Anatoly Kharchuk publicly rejected the option of replacing head coach Leonid Tambiev with Andrey Razin, citing the sufficient credit of trust that the Latvian specialist has.
However, the results of the Moscow club raise questions. Before the match with CSKA, which was scheduled for the fourteenth of October, Dynamo held sixteen games, ten of which lost. At that time, the team took ninth place in the standings, being outside the playoff zone.
Andrey Razin together with Metallurg won the Gagarin Cup in the spring of 2024.
