The coach of PBC Lokomotiv-Kuban assessed the opponent before the match with Avtodor

Basketball players “Lokomotiv-Kuban” on October 14 will play in Krasnodar with Saratov “Avtodor” in the United League. The meeting will take place on the parquet of southerners in the Basket Hall.

Head coach of the Krasnodar team Tomislav Tomovich noted that the opponent is doing well in the championship. According to him, Saratov has a recognizable playing style and three strong legionnaires. The exception among the recent performances of Avtodor, the specialist called, with a reservation, the match against Zenit.

Tomovich stressed that Lokomotiv-Kuban should seriously prepare for the meeting and fully give everything on the site. At the same time, the coach admitted that the team is now playing in a tight schedule, when there is less time for full training than for matches. However, he expressed confidence that basketball players will approach the game in good shape.

Separately, the coach of Lokomotiv-Kuban noted the return of the team home. We returned to Krasnodar, where we always feel the love and support of the fans with special strength. I believe that on Wednesday we will be supported by a lot of fans, and we will delight them with our game and the result.

Tomislav Tomović started his coaching career in 2010 at the Belgrade Academy. At home, he headed the Slodes club for three seasons, then worked as an assistant in the Chinese teams Shandong Hai-Speed Kirin and Sichuan Blue Wales, as well as in Belgrade Mege and Red Star.

As part of the coaching staff of Red Star, Tomovic became the champion of the Adriatic League and twice won the Serbian Cup. In his debut season at the head of Lokomotiv-Kuban, he led the Krasnodars to the bronze medals of the United League, and in September 2026 the team won the League Super Cup silver.
