In Minsk awarded the winners of the contest-marathon “Sport and court”

At the start of the competition-marathon “Sport and yard”, launched by the Presidential Sports Club this year, 1047 participants from all regions of the country came out. The task before them seemed simple: to perform sports tasks, shoot creative videos about it and post them on social networks. The organizers evaluated not only the physical abilities, but also the creative approach of the contestants. 163 participants reached the final. Choosing winners in the categories of “girls”, “men”, “family” and “50+” was not easy.

To start shooting, the participants had to choose a location – a sports ground built as part of the project “Sport for All”. It started in 2021, and since then, about 230 multifunctional sites have already been built throughout Belarus.

- We saw that they are popular among the population, tracked the publications of citizens who came to our venues, trained, shot infectious videos to popular, trendy music. All this led us to the idea: why not support and stimulate the participants to compete, to show themselves, because they already go on social networks? – recalls how the marathon contest, assistant chairman of the Presidential Sports Club Pavel Egorov. Thanks to the participants of the project “Sport and yard”, their subscribers, friends and acquaintances paid attention not only to the competition, but also to the availability of sports grounds in the regions.

The organizers wanted to show that in order to be in great shape and play sports, it is not necessary to go to sports clubs and fitness centers - it is enough to come to sports grounds and practice. But, it should be noted, some participants proved that for those who want to study, in principle, there are no obstacles. This is just about the winner among the girls Tatiana Krotenko. To shoot videos with the fulfillment of tasks, she traveled 60 kilometers to Gomel from Chechersk, where the venue from the Presidential Sports Club does not yet exist! The participant did not register for the marathon competition immediately - only under the number 1020. There were moments when Tatiana thought that she would not reach the final, but every new video, every task from the organizers was motivated to continue participating in the project “Sport and the Court”.

- I lived in Moscow, nine years ago I began to come to Belarus, and I live here for three years. I love sports very much and now I work as a coach – I train girls in Chechersk. You could say I came to this by accident. I went to the gym at a children's and youth school, because there is no separate fitness club in our city, and was surprised that very few girls go to training. I was excited to develop this direction. I studied as a coach and started working, says Tatiana. I believe that the absence of a hall should not be an obstacle to sports. Of course, I would like to see a sports field in our city. I think at least a few people simply will not be able to pass by: they can come, pull up, push up, do some more exercises. This will be a big plus for them and their health.

The fact that on street sports grounds you can achieve a cool physical shape, no doubts Ilya Tofelev from Mogilev, who became the winner among men. During the season, the guy made a whole team, which included even a cameraman! The guys tried to shoot high-quality content that could attract the audience, so that from the very first seconds the audience wanted to watch the videos to the end.

- There are enough sports grounds of the Presidential Sports Club in Mogilev, but it was not easy to find free time to perform tasks: I had to shoot in the evening, at night, and in the early morning. Sometimes there were other guys on the site, but I think this is even a plus - they are not empty, says Ilya Tofelev. Training on the street, of course, is different from training in the gym, but the fact that you can not create a shape and aesthetic body on the bars is a myth. I think the sport and yard project proved that. We definitely want to be there next season.

Pavel Egorov noted that only during the marathon competition “Sport and yard” 53 multifunctional sports complexes appeared on the map of our country. This means that the opportunities for the residents of our country have become even more. The project “Sport and yard”, by the way, plan to continue: the first season was successful – the second, the organizers assured, be!

Among the families who took part in the competition-marathon “Sport and yard”, the best recognized family of Inna Kordabneva from Klimovichi, and the first place among the 50+ participants was taken by Tamara Kozlovskaya from the agro-town of Benyakoni.
