VI regional judo tournament in memory of coach Sergey Larin opened in Yelets

In the Yelets Palace of Sports named after Alexander Petrov, the VI regional judo tournament in memory of coach Sergey Larin opened. The start of the competition was reported in the administration of the Yelets district.

The tournament is attended by boys and girls from 15 regions of Russia. The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of the city administration, the regional judo federation, as well as the coach’s family – his wife and sons.

Sergey Larin trained eight masters of sports of Russia in judo and more than forty candidates for master of sports in Yelets. Over the years, he regularly judged the championships and championships of the Central Federal District and the country, as well as all-Russian and international tournaments.
