In Koryazhma began the construction of the sexes in the future center of martial arts

For the center of martial arts, the building of the former educational and production workshops of the children's home-school, transferred to the municipal property, is being reconstructed. Large-scale modernization provides for the superstructure of the second floor.

The project is funded from the federal, regional and local budgets. The cost of the contract is 207 million rubles.

Work started in April. Earthworks were carried out at the facility, the necessary communications were laid and the roof was installed.

Now the contractor lays screeds and floors, conducts thermal insulation of ventilation chambers, installs an internal lighting system, installs heating equipment, conducts work on the roof and finishing the facade. There are 33 specialists on the site.

Construction work is scheduled to be completed in September 2027. After reconstruction, a two-storey building of the center will house a large hall with sliding stands for 120 seats, a gym and a recovery room. For athletes, dressing rooms and showers are equipped. The administrative block will provide coaching rooms, rest rooms and a methodical office.

The center plans to form a platform for training athletes of the regional and all-Russian level, develop adaptive sports, organize the rehabilitation of veterans of a special military operation.
