In Lipetsk, a new modular gym was opened on Kosmonauts Street, where young basketball players will be able to train in suitable conditions. Previously, athletes had to practice in school halls, adjusting to their size and schedule. The construction of the site was reported in the government of the Lipetsk region.
Arrangements with each school had to be made separately. Sometimes free time was only in the late evening, and in some rooms there was not enough length to work out the correct sequence of steps. This interfered with the preparation and led to errors in the competition.
Now sports schools can use the new hall from morning to 18:00. The schedule also provides time for students of school No. 47, next to which a modular structure was built.
In the evening, the site will be able to occupy sports clubs and amateur teams. Here they will play not only basketball, but also volleyball, football and rollerball.
