In the working village of Lunino, Penza region opened a new sports ground for the preparation and implementation of the standards of the complex "Ready for Labor and Defense" (GTO). It installed modern simulators with QR codes, allowing you to get acquainted with the exercises for each projectile.
At the opening ceremony, Acting Head of the Luninsky District Larisa Kuprienko noted that the new site will be available to all residents of the municipality.
“The sports ground will be available to all residents of the Luninsky district, everyone can come, test their capabilities, including preparing for the delivery of GTO standards,” she stressed.
The sports space was equipped with simulators with QR codes. With their help, visitors can get a selection of exercises for a specific projectile. In addition, a table with GTO standards for men and women was placed on the site.
In total, eight small sports grounds were built in the Penza region to prepare for the implementation of the GTO standards. They are located in Penza, Kuznetsk, Zarechny, as well as in Spassky, Penza, Luninsky, Kamensky and Moksha districts.
For two autumn months, more than 40 sports events were held at new venues, in which more than 800 people took part.
The regional government noted that the creation of such facilities is aimed at the development of mass sports. One of the goals of the federal project is to increase the share of Russians regularly engaged in physical culture and sports to 70% by 2030.
At the same time, the mode of operation of the sites depends on the availability of fencing. Objects with fenced territory are open to the public from 8:00 to 18:00, and unfenced sites, such as the Olympic Alley in Penza, are available around the clock.
According to the press service of the regional government, the facility was equipped with the support of Governor Oleg Melnichenko in the framework of the federal project “Development of physical culture and mass sports”.
