Runners were offered to return the cost of slots or save them for the next year. Also, those interested could take part in the race in other cities or choose an online format.
According to DonDay, more than 1.5 thousand people were going to go to the Rostov start. However, the cancellation of the event did not prevent some fans of running on their own to overcome the distance through the streets of the Don capital.
The organizers confirmed that they intend to hold the race in Rostov in 2027. In case of any changes, they promise to inform the participants.
Saratov was also included in the list of cities with open registration, where in 2026 Zabeg.RF did not take place. In Belgorod, the mass start was also canceled, but there are no locations among the announced for the next year.
