Volleyball season starts in Nizhny Novgorod

Today at 19:00 starts a new season of volleyball Super League for VK “Gorky”.

The first opponent is Gazprom-Ugra, the game will be held on the parquet of FOCA Zarechye.

It seems that this season can be more successful than ever for the team of Andrei Dranishnikov. Nizhny Novgorod retained funding, strengthened the composition and performed well in the “pre-season”.

Recall that in the past Super League draw Nizhny Novgorod in the qualifying round of the playoffs lost to Dynamo-LO.

Will it be possible to repeat or improve the result?

SportsFlag returned, visas were not given: how the Netherlands deprive Russian gymnasts of the Olympics-2028

On October 9, a truly absurd and tense situation developed in Russian sports. On the one hand, the international federations are lifting discriminatory restrictions one by one. On the other hand, host countries are finding ways to keep our athletes out of competitions using a banal bureaucracy. A good example is the Russian gymnastics team, which right now risks losing its chance at the Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
