The athlete from Karachay-Cherkessia became the winner of the championship of Russia in freestyle wrestling among athletes with hearing impairment. Competitions were held in Orel and gathered participants from 12 regions.

The Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports of the Republic said that Omar Khutov won a bronze medal in the weight category up to 51 kg.

The winner is coached by mentors Rustam Chotchaev and Islam Kushaev.

Earlier it was reported that the volunteer from the KCR became the winner of the world championship among veterans.
