On October 17, the XVIII Sheksninsky Half Marathon will be held in the village of Progress of the Sheksninsky District, which will be the final in the Vologda Marathon Cup.
The organizers offer four distances: 2, 5, 10 and 21 km. Children will run separately 500 and 1000 meters. Finisher medals and electronic certificates were prepared for all participants. There are prizes in 38 age groups, family and team standings.
After the race, participants will be fed a hot lunch. A Russian bath will also be prepared, and a fair of farm products will work. The opening ceremony will begin at 10:25. Awarding of the winners is scheduled for 14.20. In addition, the winners of the Cup in all age categories will be announced at the end of the running season.
