Yamal shooters took eight medals on the last day of the tournament in November

Yamal won eight medals on the final day of the All-Russian competition in bullet shooting in Noyabrsk. According to the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, the athletes received three gold, two silver and three bronzes.

In the exercises for shooting from an air pistol and air rifle (PP-60 and VP-60), men and women received gold medals Alina Khizbullina and Ilya Melkozerov from Noyabrsk, as well as Vadim Mukhametyanov from Gubkinsky. Silver received Sofia Sabirova from Noyabrsk and Sergey Bendos from Tarko-Sale. Bronze medalists were Ales Sklyarova from Novy Urengoy, Vladimir Stepanov from Noyabrsk and Gleb Ivanov from Gubkinsky.

The competition took place from 18 to 24 October. They were attended by 131 athletes from seven regions of Russia.

Earlier, Yamal won 10 more medals - three gold, three silver and four bronze. Awards were also received by shooters from Noyabrsk, Gubkinsky, Tarko-Sale and Novy Urengoy.
