Young footballers of Kalmykia competed and studied at sea

The second final of the School Football League ended in Anapa. In the all-Russian mini-football competitions “Leather Ball – School Football League” of the season 2025-2026, a team from Kalmykia participated.

Among boys in the age group up to 15 years, the team of the Maloderbetov Gymnasium of Kalmykia took part. The guys took 14th place (out of 48th). The best player of the team is Batu Bembeev.

Competitions dedicated to the memory of Nikita Pavlovich Simonyan were held from October 3 to 12 with the support of the Russian Sports Foundation. On the territory of the VDC “Smena” on the Black Sea coast, schoolchildren spent almost two weeks. In addition to football matches, they received master classes from the ambassadors of the RFU - world champions in beach football Anton Shkarin and Boris Nikonorov, ex-players of the Russian football teams Dmitry Sennikov and Alexei Gasilin. And also participated in cyber football tournaments, held trainings, creative workshops and went on hikes. For coaches, the methodical group of the Football in School project headed by Dmitry Barannik held educational seminars. The Medical Department of the RFU organized a lecture and a quiz on anti-doping “Play honestly” for the participants, and the Main Judicial Board – a quiz.
