Women’s team of Russia completed the performance at the world Cup in gymnastics

The Russian women’s team finished sixth in the team all-around at the World Gymnastics Championship, which hosts Rotterdam.

In total, Russian gymnasts scored 159,394 points. The victory was won by the team of China (165,764), the top three teams also included the United States (165,531) and Japan (164,063). It was these three teams that won tickets to the 2028 Olympic Games.

Olympic champions Angelina Melnikova and Victoria Listunova, as well as Russian champion Anna Kalmykova, could not play in the Russian women's team: they miss the tournament due to the fact that the Dutch authorities refused them to issue visas.

Earlier it was reported that the Russian men’s team became a silver medalist in the team all-around and the first of the Russian athletes qualified for the Games in Los Angeles, losing only to the team of Japan.

The World Cup in the Netherlands ends on October 25.
