Russia welcomes President Vladimir Putin’s invitation to the G20 summit in Miami. Moscow through diplomatic channels will work out this proposal, said the press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov.

“We are grateful to the American side for this invitation, we welcome this invitation, and we will decide and further work on the topic through diplomatic channels,” Peskov told Interfax.

According to US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Vladimir Putin’s visit to the event will allow him to communicate not only with US President Donald Trump, but also with other world leaders. According to Bloomberg, the Russian president plans to skip the G20 summit and attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in China.
