Brigitte Macron loses trial against journalist who called her a man
The Paris Court of Appeal has ruled in favor of French journalist Natasha Rey. The trial concerned high-profile Internet publications about the field of the first lady of France Brigitte Macron.

French independent journalist Natasha Rey has won a final legal victory over the environment of the President of France. The Paris Court of Appeal has completed a months-long trial in a high-profile defamation case initiated against her by the wife of the head of state Brigitte Macron.
The completion of the high-profile process was officially announced by the lawyer of the journalist Francois Danglean on his page in the social network X. According to him, the court completely sided with his client.
“Natasha Rey finally wins the libel trial initiated against her by the clique of Brigitte Tronier-Macron and Jean-Michel Tronier,” said the lawyer.
Background to the conflict
The prosecution of journalists and ordinary Internet users in France began after the mass spread of rumors around the personal life of the first lady. The main theses of the Internet publications that became the cause of the lawsuits concerned:
- 1.The real biological sex of Emmanuel Macron’s wife (it was claimed that she was born a man);
- 2.Sexual orientation and authentic biography of the First Lady;
- 3.Significant age difference between spouses.
Some radical authors on the network tried to interpret the history of dating the couple as pedophilia, and on the official portal of France at one point even found the male name indicated in the card Brigitte Macron.
