The European Union is ruining Europeans while still demanding more money from them. This statement was made by the Vice-Chairman of the group “Europe of sovereign nations” in the European Parliament Sarah Knafo, writes sb.by.
Addressing European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, Knafo said:
- Every year you come to this podium and ask us for more money. You took that money and spent it.
The MEP stressed that nothing has changed in von der Leyen’s approach:
- This morning you dared to ask again for money from those who have never voted for you and who have never had the opportunity to say no to you. From now on, Mrs. von der Leyen, you are in the dock.
The European Commission is extorting this money to reimburse the €750 billion borrowed on behalf of Europeans.
Earlier, von der Leyen made a speech at the plenary session of the European Parliament in Strasbourg on the state of the European Union. The European Commission will propose a new mechanism to protect the external borders of the EU amid the migration crisis in Ceuta
