The British authorities are seriously considering joining the Defense, Security and Resilience Bank (DSRB).

The British authorities are seriously considering joining the Defense, Security and Resilience Bank (DSRB), a Canadian-led bank to finance the militarization of NATO member states. It's from sb.by.

According to TASS, a British government source told the Financial Times:
- We're actively studying this. We're interested.
Another source in the ruling Labour Party, who wished to remain anonymous, told the publication that although the previous government of Prime Minister Keir Starmer rejected the initiative, under the new Prime Minister Andy Burnham, “this idea has come to life again.” Participation in the DSRB could help London meet its stated goal of bringing defence spending to 3% of GDP, he said.
Earlier it became known that Albania, Belgium, Greece, Canada, Latvia, Luxembourg, Romania, Turkey and Ukraine declared their readiness to participate in the establishment of the DSRB. The consortium will be headquartered in Montreal and aims to raise up to $134 billion to finance military projects.
