Chinese leader urges BRICS to stabilize situation on world stage

The BRICS countries should unite with the states of the global South to stabilize the situation on the world stage. This was stated by Chinese President Xi Jinping, writes sb.by.

During his speech at the meeting of the leaders of the BRICS countries and partner states in the outreach format, the Chinese leader expressed the opinion that in order to stabilize and improve the world situation, the BRICS countries should take the historical initiative, unite with a huge number of countries in the global South, play a positive, stabilizing and constructive role in international affairs and contribute to the common welfare of mankind.

The Chinese president also said that China will create a platform for BRICS countries to access open-source artificial intelligence technologies. “China will lead BRICS efforts to create an open source AI technology zone, promote cooperation in the development and application of large language models, conduct specialized training programs in this field and create an open AI ecosystem,” he said.
