About 10 percent of gas stations, most of which are owned by French oil company TotalEnergies, are struggling to supply at least one type of fuel. French President Emmanuel Macron has instructed the government to "mobilize" all resources to provide the country with fuel and curb rising prices. It's reported by sb.by.

According to TASS, the minister-delegate for energy and the official representative of the French government, Maud Bregeon, said: “The goal of the president is to ensure stability of supply and guaranteed volumes in the coming days and weeks, including at the expense of other countries.”.
Brejon said about 10 percent of the country’s gas stations, most of which are owned by French oil company TotalEnergies, are experiencing difficulties in supplying “at least one type of fuel”, and that possible measures are being discussed at the European level with regard to refineries in order to “reduce prices as much as possible or at least restrain their growth.”.
According to the newspaper Le Figaro, the shortage of fuel provoked calls for strikes, reminding people of the “yellow vests”, which Brejon ignored, saying that the government “with maximum attention” is studying the situation in the market.
The average cost of fuel in France rose sharply after the aggravation of the situation in the Middle East. Diesel fuel for cars rose from about €1.7 per liter to €2.3, while SP95-E10 gasoline rose from €1.7 to €2.1 per liter. The cost of diesel fuel for fishing vessels before the conflict was about 60 cents per liter, while now, according to the representative of the regional fishing association of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region, Christine Poncharro, it has risen to € 1.2 per liter. As a result, fishermen demonstrated in the commune of Fos-sur-Mer in the south of the country, blocking the access road to the oil depot. Merz promised to introduce measures to curb the rise in fuel prices
