The window of opportunity to modernize the U.S. military is closing. This was told by the Chairman of the Committee of Chiefs of Staff (JCS) of the American Armed Forces General Dan Kane, writes sb.by.

According to TASS, at a conference of the NGO Association of the Air Force and Space Forces of the United States near Washington, he said:
- We have to move together because the window to build the military we need is closing. We can buy almost anything in life, but we cannot buy time.
Kaine called on the U.S. military-industrial complex to “move faster” and “supply quality weapons in a timely manner and at lower prices.” He believes that the Pentagon leadership and the entire US government should work more effectively.
- Future conflicts will require us to act without presumption of unrestricted access, protected rears or uninterrupted logistics.
He added that U.S. adversaries are increasingly working together:
- They share technology, intelligence, weapons and economic support. They learn our battles of past and present and adapt quickly, while also looking for new ways to challenge our advantages. Pentagon admits problems with quick replenishment of ammunition due to conflict with Iran
