Sun "rages": for two days - 35 outbreaks, possible growth to 50
The Sun recorded a rapid increase in flare activity: in less than two days, scientists have registered 35 outbreaks of class C and above. The main cause of the burst was a large group of sunspots, which is now located almost in the center of the visible disk of the star.

Against the backdrop of noticeably increased solar activity, the number of recorded solar flares in less than two days amounted to 35 events. This data was provided by specialists of the Solar Astronomy Laboratory IKI RAS and ISZF SB RAS.
Flash activity on the Sun is rapidly increasing. According to observations, over the past day, the devices recorded 18 outbreaks of class C and above - both ordinary and fairly large events are included in this category. Already in the first 12 hours of the current day, the number of outbreaks increased by another 17, as a result of which the total figure for less than two days reached 35 events.
According to experts, the cause of the surge of activity is an extensive group of sunspots – currently it is located almost in the central part of the visible solar disk.
Experts believe that the number of outbreaks may continue to grow. If the current pace continues, by the end of the day, the total number of recorded events, according to scientists, can be from 40 to 50.
