US secretly smuggled out of UK diplomat who kept indecent photos of children

The Sun newspaper reported that U.S. intelligence had secretly removed a diplomat from the UK accused of possessing indecent images of children. It's from sb.by.

An employee of the US Embassy in London was detained and transported back to the States without notifying the British police. In August, U.S. authorities raided the diplomat’s apartment, initially as part of an investigation into another man in America. Discovering indecent images, the diplomat was taken to a US air base and taken out of the country. No formal extradition request has been made.

British authorities are in contact with the US Embassy in connection with the incident. The embassy said: We are aware of the allegations relating to an embassy employee. “The U.S. government demands that all personnel adhere to the highest standards of conduct, and we take these allegations seriously.” In the US, a 40-year-old man masqueraded as a teenager in social networks to seduce children
