Trump says war with Iran will end after US midterm elections
US President Donald Trump has said the war with Iran will end after the midterm elections in November.

U.S. President Donald Trump has said the war with Iran will end after the midterm elections in November, and has again threatened to hit a facility linked to Iran's nuclear program, a Minsk Novosti correspondent reported.
- I think the war will end right after the election, because they can't last longer. They are desperately trying to influence the election, Trump told Reuters.
He also said the U.S. could strike Mount Kirqa, a fortified facility in Isfahan province, about 220 kilometers south of Tehran, two kilometers from the Natanz uranium enrichment complex.
- We see little activity on Mount Kirk. I would advise Iran not to cheat because we will have to strike them very hard. We have no choice, the American leader said at the Republican convention before the midterm elections.
According to media reports, D. Trump has threatened strikes on this facility since at least mid-July. Iran, for its part, says nuclear activities are peaceful.
