Smolensk fortress and IPCC launched a pilot course for cashiers and caretakers
Smolensk Fortress State Museum and Moscow State Institute of Culture (MGIK) sign strategic partnership agreement

The Smolensk Fortress State Museum and the Moscow State Institute of Culture (MGIK) have signed a strategic partnership agreement. Within the framework of this union, the museum will become the first federal platform for the implementation of the innovative educational program “Professional Communications and Culture of Speech of Museum Workers”.
Training will be not only guides, but also employees of the “first line” – administrators, cashiers and supervisors of halls. They are the first to welcome guests and form a general impression of the museum and the region.
The project is a pilot. A specially developed course from IPCC teachers will help to improve the level of service and the quality of communication with tourists.
If the program on the basis of the Smolensk Fortress is successful, the experience gained will be scaled to other state museums of the country.
