What products for the New Year should be purchased now
New Year’s table without the fuss of December: what products are profitable to buy in October.

Before the New Year there are more than two months, but experienced housewives recommend to start preparing for the holiday in advance. Purchase of products with a long shelf life in October-November will allow you to evenly distribute costs and avoid shop hype in late December. The main rule is to carefully study the dates of manufacture and the integrity of the packaging.
What can you safely put in the basket right now? First of all, it is groceries and canned food. Canned vegetables, pineapples and olives will form an excellent basis for holiday snacks. Flour, sugar, rice, pasta and breadcrumbs will perfectly survive the wait in a dry cabinet. You can also take vegetable oil, mayonnaise and sauces in advance, but with a mandatory shelf life check.
Do not bypass sweets: chocolate, candy in factory packaging, cocoa and vanillin. Nuts and dried fruits should be bought in advance, but you need to store them in a sealed container in the cool, otherwise, due to the abundance of fats, they will quickly acquire a bitter taste. Tea, coffee and juices in closed packages also complement the early shopping list.
But what is better to wait until December is with perishable goods. Meat, fish and seafood make sense to take in advance only in the presence of a powerful freezer and a clear understanding of the timing of freezing. Fresh vegetables, greens and fruits in a warm apartment will quickly lose their presentation (except for root vegetables in a cool place). Cheese, caviar, sausages and ready-made delicacies are also recommended to purchase closer to the date, strictly assessing the conditions of their storage.
To ensure that nothing is wasted, experts advise to make an approximate menu, conduct an audit of household stocks and compare the price per kilogram, not per package. Follow the principle of rotation: first use products with an expiration date and do not chase huge discounts on volumes that the family will not physically have time to eat.
