Kuryan warned about the dangers of alcohol and TV before bedtime

Residents of the Kursk region warned against drinking alcohol and watching TV before bedtime. This writes Life.ru with reference to the professor of the Department of Therapy of the University of Rosbiotech.

According to the expert, the average person spends six to seven hours in sleep, and this is not enough for a full recovery of the body. Chronic lack of rest is fraught with the development of stress, excess weight, heart disease and diabetes.

The professor considers it a bad habit to fall asleep under alcohol or TV. Alcohol relaxes only in minimal doses, and if exceeded can cause overexcitation. Television, in turn, can overwork the nervous system.

As a result, a person falls asleep, but does not get a full rest. The specialist recommends reading a book before going to bed, and if an audio recording is turned on, turn it off before falling asleep.
