Casco statistics for the first six months of 2026 showed a noticeable difference in the frequency of insurance claims for Chinese cars

Casco statistics for the first six months of 2026 showed a noticeable difference in the frequency of insurance claims from Chinese cars. AlfaInsurance allows you to compare 15 models by the number of insurance cases per 100 issued policies. This is reported by the Russian newspaper.
Jetour Dashing has the highest score. For 100 insured cars of this model accounted for 52.7 insured events. Voyah Free came in second at 43.1%.
The next group includes three models. Haval F7 had a 42% call rate, Omoda C5 had 41% and Geely Atlas had 40.7%.
Indicators of other cars from the top ten were also quite close. For Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max recorded 40% of insurance claims. Geely Monjaro had 39.7% and Changan Uni-S had 38.9%. Haval Jolion scored 38.7 percent and Haval Dargo closed the top ten with 37.4 percent.
At the same time, at the bottom of the list were models with a lower frequency of calls. Geely Coolray had 34.5 percent, while Haval M6 had 32 percent. Even fewer cases occurred on Geely Cityray – 30.7%, and Belgee X70 – 30.2%. The minimum indicator among the presented cars was recorded in the Belgee X50 - 29.4%.
In "AlphaInsurance" draw attention to the fact that the probability of an insured event car owners can estimate too optimistically, especially in the absence of previous experience of serious damage. At the same time, according to some models, the share of appeals on the casco exceeds half the number of policies.
Another factor is the cost of repair. According to Ilya Grigoriev, director of the department of underwriting of auto insurance "AlfaInsurance", modern cars contain a large number of expensive components. Among the most expensive elements, he highlights body parts, optics, electronic systems and driver assistance equipment.
Thus, in the presented study, the difference between the first and last positions is 23.3 percentage points.
The distribution of models by frequency of insurance events is as follows:
