The level of employment of graduates of colleges in Pomorie was 77%

In Pomorie, the routing of college graduates is being strengthened. Employment is becoming one of the main criteria for the effectiveness of secondary vocational education in the Arkhangelsk region, the press service of the governor and the government of the region reported.

By the end of 2025, the level of employment of graduates of SPO institutions in the region was 77%. The highest indicators are in areas related to mechanical engineering, railway transport and healthcare.

Several educational organizations of the Arkhangelsk region were among the leaders of the national employment rating. NAFU Technological College took the second place among educational organizations of the corresponding profile in the field of forest industry, Arkhangelsk College of Culture and Art - the second place in the direction of art and creative industry, Nyandom Railway College - the fourth place in the field of railway transport, Koryazhem Industrial College - the fourth place in the forest industry.

- Rating is not an end in itself for us. The main question is what happens to a young person after receiving a diploma. Therefore, in the academic year 2026/27, special attention will be paid to the routing of graduates in the region. Modernized personnel centers “Work of Russia”, colleges and employers themselves should be actively involved in this work, Ivan Dementyev, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Arkhangelsk Region, said.

Targeted learning remains one of the most effective mechanisms. In the academic year 2025/26, 530 targeted contracts were concluded with students of the ASE in the region. In this model, the employer is connected to the preparation of the future specialist during training, and the student receives a clear professional perspective.

- Graduate employment is perhaps the most honest indicator of how much the educational program is in demand. If a young specialist finds a job after college, if the company is interested in it, then the system works correctly. Therefore, we set ourselves the task of accompanying a person not until the moment of awarding a diploma, but before he enters a specific workplace, Evgeny Melekhin emphasized.

At the federal level, this approach is also becoming systemic. The national ranking of universities and colleges for employment is posted on the platform “Work of Russia”, and the employment indicators of graduates are included in the tasks of the national projects “Personnel” and “Youth and Children”.

The next step for the Arkhangelsk region is to increase the number of targeted contracts and strengthen the interaction of colleges with enterprises.
