In the capital of Buryatia, an official of an educational institution was brought to administrative responsibility for violating the order of employment of a former civil servant. This is reported by the prosecutor's office of the Republic.

The inspection showed that in March 2024, the institution concluded an employment contract with a former civil servant. At the same time, the employer did not notify the employee of the new place of work at the place of his former service within the prescribed period, as required by anti-corruption legislation.

The prosecutor's office opened a case on an administrative offense under article 19.29 of the administrative code of the Russian Federation - illegal employment of a former civil servant. Based on the results of consideration of materials, the official who signed the employment contract was fined 20 thousand rubles.

The Buryatia Prosecutor’s Office reminded that the obligation to notify former civil servants of employment is provided for by Article 12 of the Federal Law “On Combating Corruption”.
