Volgograd explained whether it is possible to return the goods without a check and how to do it
The check is lost and the store refuses to take the goods back? The seller has no right to do that. Portal "Explain.rf" told how to get a refund.

Refusal due to lack of a check is illegal
Many believe that there is no check, no return. But the law is on the buyer's side. According to paragraph 5 of Art. 18 of the Law “On Protection of Consumer Rights”, the purchase can be confirmed not only by a paper check.
What else can prove the purchase:
Plus, the seller himself can raise information about the transaction in the cash system. This reminds me of "Explain.rf.".
Conclusion: It’s not the check that matters, but the reason you want to return the item.
Situation one: the purchase just didn't fit
Non-food products of good quality can be exchanged within 14 days, and the day of purchase is not included in this period. The grounds - did not fit the shape, size, style, color or configuration. It is important that the product retains its appearance and properties.
If there is no analogue available, the buyer has the right to take the money. The seller is given three days.
What not to exchange for such reasons: perfumes, medicines and technically complex household appliances of proper quality.
Situation two: Marriage discovered
There's no need for a check here. If the warranty period or expiration date has not expired, demand a refund. However, the seller can challenge the presence of a defect - then an examination is appointed, which is allotted 10 days.
A separate rule is for technically complex goods (car, refrigerator, etc.). In the first 15 days, the money was returned. Later, the seller can first offer repairs. You can refuse the transaction if the repair lasts more than 45 days or breakages are repeated, and in the amount of the warranty year, you can not use the thing longer than 30 days.
If the seller stands his ground
The main thing is not to leave the situation without a reaction: the law protects the buyer in such disputes.
