Municipal enterprise illegally dismissed the mother in the decree in Kuban

In Otradnensky district, thanks to the intervention of the prosecutor’s office, it was possible to defend the labor rights of a woman who was illegally dismissed during childcare leave.

The reason for the inspection was the appeal of the employee. During the proceedings, the prosecutor’s office established that the management of the MKU “Emergency and Rescue Squad” of the Otradnensky district terminated the employment contract with her unilaterally, although under the current legislation, dismissal of workers on maternity leave is strictly prohibited at the initiative of the employer.

This violation was promptly reacted to: the deputy prosecutor of the district issued a decision to bring the director of the institution to administrative responsibility under Part 1 of Art. 5.27 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation - for violation of labor legislation. The manager was fined. In addition, the prosecutor's office made a submission to eliminate the violations identified.

As a result of the measures taken, the woman was restored to her post, as well as fully paid all the amounts due to her, the press service of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Krasnodar Territory reports.
