Prices for poultry meat in Russia are adjusted after a long period of relatively low prices, the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia reported.
“The dynamics of wholesale prices largely depend on changes in production costs and market conditions. At the same time, poultry meat prices remained relatively low for a long period. Currently, they are being adjusted taking into account the accumulated growth in production costs, the report said.
At the same time, high competition and the presence of significant production capacities allow maintaining a stable supply of products in the domestic market. Poultry enterprises are also taking measures to improve production efficiency and restrain the growth of costs, the Ministry of Agriculture explained.
Russian poultry enterprises are operating stably and fully provide the domestic market with the necessary volumes of products. According to Rosstat, in January-August 2026, agricultural organizations produced 4.4 million tons of poultry in live weight.
