The Development Bank opened the second season of the educational project “Rumers”. This time, the team of the financial institution was replenished with seventeen students. An important feature of the new set was that young specialists will work not only in the central office, but also in the structural units of branches in Minsk, Vitebsk, Brest and Grodno.

The project has proven its practical effectiveness. Students of the first season continue to work successfully at the Development Bank. Individual career tracks have been formed for each of them and vectors of professional growth have been determined.

The first event of the new season was the meeting of the participants with the Chairman of the Board of the Development Bank Sergey Stoliarchuk. The focus was not just acquaintance, but deep immersion in corporate culture through the prism of the Bank’s values. During the meeting, the guys presented themselves, telling about their strengths and weaknesses, and also outlined the key tasks and guidelines for the next three months.

During the dialogue, the Chairman of the Board stressed that in the modern banking ecosystem, the contribution of each employee is important for achieving common strategic goals. The key task of the new season is to teach participants to work in a single team, effectively exchange ideas and build synergy of competencies.

- Look at the processes wider, think outside the box and act ahead of the here and now. The main priority is continuous self-development. Our goal is that following the results of the project, you will be formed as in-demand professionals and in the future remain in the team of the Development Bank or continue your career with our partners and clients, said Sergey Stoliarchuk.

To start practical work, the umers received the first task within the accelerator program. Young people will have to prepare presentations of the sprint “Hidden Champion”. This task will be a logical continuation of the first season, where students identified and analyzed promising Belarusian enterprises with high growth potential. Note that some of the previously found companies have already become customers of the Bank.

17 participants have integration into business processes, solving real problems of the real sector and large-scale professional challenges ahead. The project confirms the main point: investment in youth is an investment in a technological and sustainable future of the country’s financial system.
