The driver of the Bobruisk OJSC "Mikhalevskaya Niva" Andrey Manko to his colleagues-automobilists invariably wishes: "Let not break the equipment, do not let your health, and work will be fun!"
On a fine autumn day, a young agrarian can not be found in one place: production tasks are poured one after another, and he enthusiastically takes up each one. Such dedication and responsible attitude to business give a good result: in his 25 years Andrey Manko has repeatedly accepted congratulations as the best young driver - this year he became the first in the district, and in the past he entered the top three in regional labor competitions. On the eve of the Day of motorist and road worker Andrey told about the attitude to the profession and the secrets of driving skills.

We catch up with Andrei Manko a few kilometers from the office: busy on the transportation of silos. Its red 20-ton MAZ unloads another batch of valuable cargo, which will be used for animal feed in winter. Six flights in the morning already made, before lunch a couple more time, he sums up from the cockpit:
- It is a pleasure to work on this new car: maneuverable, comfort and silence in the cabin. I received it only in August: thanks to the management, they were encouraged with good technique. Only I have such a car in the household, so I work with double strength - you need to justify trust. And you can earn much more on 20 tons – such a technique would be at the beginning of the harvesting!
Driving genes in Andrey Manko appeared since childhood. At home, all this contributed: his father had a tractor T-40, sturdy "Zhiguli" and motorcycles. Together with his brother, he learned to manage this technique, maintain it and repair it. For boys, there is no greater happiness than to ride with the breeze and spin the screws, he jokes:
- My driving license already has marks A, B, C, E. I can drive a motorcycle, and drive a car to sit down, and a truck with a trailer is also under force. Most of all, I got used to a heavy truck: it was immediately difficult to feel the dimensions. But now I'm maneuvering without question. Mastery is the daily honing of the same skills. Andrey Manko has been a driver for almost three years. Surprisingly, work began in the same farm as a simple electrician. Distributed after Bobruisk College, worked for six months and went to the army - got into an artillery military unit near the Osipovichi, was a gunner - shot howitzers. After the service, he returned to wiring and electrical equipment - it took almost a year to finally make sure that the real calling was a machine.
- I'm a driver for season three. The soul lies to the profession: road, steering wheel, changing landscapes outside the window. You have no idea how joyful it is to meet dawns in the cabin and see off sunsets - after all, there is it, the romance of the fields. I love to see how the seasons change, how bread will give birth to our land. And in the season, the excitement is such that words cannot convey – eyes burn when you need to get behind the wheel.

Andrey Manko’s whole family is working – relatives also work on the farm: his father is on a gas tanker, his older brother is harvesting grain in the summer on a combine harvester, and now he is raising chicks on an energy-saturated tractor Belarus-3522. The head of the family gave the driving profession 25 years, and his sons taught to work on their native land, to be dedicated to their work and to love a small homeland. And to overcome all the difficulties and hardships on the ground helps village hardening, admits Andrey Manko:
- We do not look at the cleaning room for a while: there is an understanding - it is necessary. Work on earth requires full commitment: you cannot put off until tomorrow what needs to be done today. We use every fine minute, which in an hour may not be. Wrap in the harvesting room and 200 kilometers per day - we work from dawn to dawn. Andrey Manko is also well versed in repairing equipment: his old GAZ-53, on which he learned to work, required increased attention.
- After him, I will cope with any technique, the young man says with a smile. The engine changed, the box and the clutch repaired... Colleagues helped and learned a lot from them. It was a troublesome but good experience. I am glad that today the farm is systematically updating the park: only this year came a new domestic harvester GS12, energy-saturated "Belarus-3522". My car is new, on warranties, but still not without attention - you need to service. A young worker builds not only professional plans, but also personal - dreams of starting a family. It will be easy to settle on your land: he knows that the farm will definitely give a rental house - his brother received new square meters after the wedding this year. Still ahead, but the most important thing is that there is a stable job, he says:
- We'll be fussing until late autumn. Now I take silage and corn for grain, then fertilizer, mixed feed, organic... And in winter - preparation of equipment for the new season. There will be a little respite in the cold. Andrey Manko traditionally meets the professional holiday while driving his MAZ. And in the evening, the whole family will sit at the festive table - after all, three drivers are at home. To his fellow motorists, he always wishes:
- Let the technique not break down, do not let your health down, and the work will be fun!
Grown and harvested crops are the result of professionalism, clear organization of work and high responsibility of each employee of the agro-industrial complex: from a mechanizer and driver to a drying complex operator and an agronomist. This year, farmers of the Mogilev region together received more than 1.3 million tons of grain, including rapeseed. The harvesting campaign involved 990 harvesters, and more than a thousand vehicles to deliver crops from the fields. Over a thousand tons of grain were transported by 187 drivers, more than two – 60, three – 26, four – 12, five – four drivers. Thanks to such people, it is safe to say that every family in the country will have bread on the table.
