Factories, warehouses, bus parks, depots and an airport were once built on the outskirts of Minsk. Gradually, they become close to the city center, and industrial zones now occupy hectares where we would like to see modern residential complexes with multi-level parking, well-groomed yards, new playgrounds, schools and gardens. About the projects that make the appearance of the capital more attractive – in the material of the correspondent of the agency “Minsk-Novosti”.

Minsk-Mir

When Minsk-1 airport was opened on the southern outskirts of the city in 1933, it was hardly assumed that after only 20 years the question of its transfer would arise. Already too quickly to the runways began to approach the neighborhoods, the residents of which complained about the noise of aircraft flying in many directions - in Moscow, Baku, Vilnius, Chisinau, as well as in Pinsk, Chashniki, Kopyl and Goluboye. And although the decision to remove the airport outside the capital was made in the general plan for 1956, it took more than 60 years to implement the project.

At this place, the first symbolic stone for the construction of a large-scale residential complex Minsk-Mir was laid in October 2015. By that time, the air harbor had been officially closed for eight years, but periodically accepted aircraft for maintenance. Only in the summer of 2018, it finally stopped working. By that time, the first house had already been built in Minsk-Mir, and a year later the first kindergarten was opened.

Now on 340 hectares, where there were runways, air workshop and fuel base of the airport, experimental mechanical plant "Agrotechkonmash" and a plant of reinforced concrete products, grew a whole "city in the city" of more than 150 houses. This urban concept implies that everything necessary for residents of the LCD is within 15 minutes walking or cycling. And this is true: Minsk-World has a well-developed infrastructure. There is a huge shopping center, there are already three large schools, four preschool institutions, two polyclinics - a children's and an adult, several private medical laboratories, many shops, cafes and restaurants, there are playgrounds. It is easy to get to any point of the capital from here by metro, and you can get to the subway directly from the Avia Mall. For the convenience of moving inside thematic quarters in 2017-2019, a new highway was built along the railway track of the Gomel direction. The southern highway connected the eastern part of Minsk-Mir with the street. Volodko and Aerodromnaya in the north, from Serov Street and Asanaliev Street in the south.

This LCD is being built in the “golden zone” and occupies 6.7 hectares near Victory Square. Two centuries ago there was a horse market, then a tram depot, which later became a trolleybus. And from 2020 on the street. Zakharova is building what is perhaps the most expensive housing in the country. The first six houses have already been commissioned, two are being built right now, three more will appear in the near future. In total, 20 buildings were declared, the total area of apartments in which will be about 55 thousand square meters. All houses are five to seven stories high.

In every centimeter of the territory of this residential complex, architects and designers tried to show what a real luxury in the real estate sector looks like. The yards will be closed from cars – residents of the quarter and their guests will be able to leave cars underground: 800 places for 44 thousand square meters were allocated for parking. There is also a bicycle parking and an area for charging electric cars. You can get to the desired level directly from the parking on the elevator or by passing Face ID at the door to the entrance: the faces of apartment owners are remembered by a smart system. No less intelligent system monitors the readings of meters - heating, water, leaks - and sends them to the computer of the management company, if necessary, to respond as quickly as possible to breakdowns.

Courtyards are also closed to outsiders, but this does not mean that the area in the heart of the capital will remain accessible only to residents. Yes, private areas are planned here, but public spaces will also be located. For example, the central pedestrian street, on both sides of which there will be shops, catering points, as well as sports, educational and office centers.

The developer assures that he respects the history of the place where the LCD grows, so he uses the rails and beams remaining from the old depot in the design of benches and pedestrian paths. The boulders found here during the work will become part of the landscape. In the yard of the quarter plan to plant including evergreen plants. Even at the stage of the project, the architect of the LCD stated: in fact, he creates a populated park.

On the territory where the enterprise "Agat - Electromechanical Plant" is located, within the boundaries of the street. Volgogradskaya and Kedyshko will build housing, it became known in 2023. And last year, equipment began to work on the site, freeing the land from industrial buildings. The construction of the first ten-story building is about to begin, there will be nine of them. In total, about 1,180 apartments are planned here, primarily for those who need to improve living conditions.

In parallel with residential buildings in this quarter will build a kindergarten, multi-level parking, shopping and public center. There will also be a bike path along the street. Kiddyshko and pedestrian boulevard.

"Levada."

Almost 40 hectares of land per street. Novovilenskaya began to be released from two-storey brick buildings of the Minsk poultry farm named after N. K. Krupskaya in 2010. Already then they decided: this place will be housing of increased comfort. It is understandable: a quiet area near the city center, the picturesque coast of Svisloch, Victory Park and the beach of Komsomolsk lake within walking distance. But the construction began here only in 2019, at the same time the LCD appeared the name – “Levada”.

Tower cranes work here and today: of the 25 planned houses, 19 have already been commissioned, and the first business center is also ready. Nevertheless, the general direction in the design can be traced: low-rise buildings in the Scandinavian style - restrained ventilated facades with interspersed wood, well-groomed porches and a closed area without cars and strangers. The yards of Levada can be accessed only from the entrance or through the gate, which opens from both sides using a chip. In the yards themselves good playgrounds, gazebos, benches, underground garbage containers.

On the first floors of the houses there are already coffee shops, a beauty salon, a children's center, a pharmacy and a small grocery store. And along Svisloch right behind the LCD laid ecotrope "Window to nature" with themed games, swings, children's and sports grounds. Here you can play classics, walk through the maze, take a picture in the photo zone-hut, relax on sunbeds, play sports on street simulators and admire beautiful views.

Also, the developer promised to build a kindergarten and a school in the quarter, but this task is put on pause: there are not so many residents in the residential complex, and their children are taken by nearby educational institutions.
