The press service of the company "Karat" confirmed to RBC the fact of acquisition of Pavlovsk dairy plant. This production produces products under the Ego brand, as well as Cremeitali cheeses.

Financial conditions remain undisclosed. According to experts, the price of the production complex can be from 1.5 to 2 billion rubles.

The enterprise in Pavlovsk district supplies dairy products to the market: kefir, milk, fermented meat, yogurt, as well as cottage cheese and brine cheeses, including brynza and feta. Through networks of the federal scale, part of the assortment of the Ego brand goes to the consumer.

The total area of production facilities is 5.7 thousand square meters, which allows processing up to 200 tons of milk per day. Last year, in 2022, the plant launched a line designed for the production and packaging of cream cheese, whose capacity reaches 20 tons of products per day.
