“Frees up team time to work with people”: AI is introduced into the work of the Oryol CCI
A meeting of the Board of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation was held under the chairmanship of the President of the CCI of the country Sergey Katyrin

A meeting of the Board of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation was held under the chairmanship of the President of the CCI of the country Sergey Katyrin. The meeting was held on Monday, October 19.
The main issue was the development of digital services for entrepreneurs and the introduction of AI in the activities of chambers of commerce and industry.
According to the press service of the Oryol Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the digital transformation of the system of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry is carried out in several areas, including the transfer of services to electronic format, the automation of internal processes, the development of information work and the introduction of AI tools. Thus, entrepreneurs already have access to electronic services for filing applications and documents to witness the circumstances of force majeure and obtain certificates of origin of goods. The functionality of these systems continues to develop. In parallel, a single mechanism for remote ordering and receiving CCI services is being worked out.
“In six months, 40% of employees’ time was freed up. The team switched to developing services. We're running 11 projects simultaneously. For business, these are quick answers to entrepreneurs’ appeals, more useful activities. Restrictions? Of course they were. The resistance of the team was removed by training. The quality of the data, the verification of the results, the prohibition of confidential information - all this we took into account. Decision-making is left to the employees - a principled position. The entrepreneur expects from the Chamber efficiency and individual approach. Tasks are many, resources are limited. AI allows you to do more without staff expansion and frees up team time to work with people, not with papers, said Svetlana Kovaleva, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Orel region.
