Rospotrebnadzor announced Tula moms and dads the rules of healthy holidays

Tula Rospotrebnadzor reminded parents how to organize the autumn holidays of schoolchildren so that children have time to rest after the first quarter and regain strength. Experts advise to observe the usual sleep regime, monitor food, walk more and limit time in front of screens, listed “MK in Tula” in the press service of the Ministry.

In particular, on the recommendation of sanitary doctors, it is better for the child to go to bed at the usual time, and in the morning you can afford to sleep a little longer. The diet should focus on fresh vegetables, fruits and homemade food, reducing the amount of fast food.

Another important point is walking in the fresh air, outdoor games and sports. Time at the phone, computer and other screens, experts recommend limiting one and a half hours a day, taking breaks every 30 minutes.

Parents are also advised to involve children in household chores. Possible duties help to develop independence and switch to other occupations. At the same time, it is better not to load schoolchildren with lessons and repetition of the material passed: rest should remain rest.

To make it easier for a child to allocate time, experts recommend making a plan for the day with him in advance. Thus, it will be possible to maintain the usual routine and leave a place for classes that the student chooses himself.

We will remind, earlier “MK in Tula” told what can be dangerous iodine deficiency in children. This trace element is necessary for the production of thyroid hormones, which affect metabolism, growth and development of the brain. Children are especially vulnerable to iodine deficiency during prenatal development and early life.

In the first stages, the deficit is difficult to notice. Among the possible signs are lethargy, apathy, increased fatigue, deterioration of memory and academic performance, dry skin, hair loss, brittle nails and frequent colds. Read more about this on the pages of “MK in Tula”.
